DZOGCHEN SPRING WEEKEND
ONLINE MEDITATION RETREAT
with Lama Daniela and Lama Christopher

Secure event registration form

Join us for this special weekend retreat online, where we will explore the heart essence teachings of 14th c. Dzogchen meditation adept Longchen Rabjam (Longchenpa) on resting in natural freshness.  These heart essence teachings point out the natural liberation that is inherent in the nature of mind. Realizing our innate freedom of being is the key to unleashing a wealth of contentment and ease as we sail the journey of this lifetime.  Over the course of this Zoom retreat together, Lama Daniela & Lama Christopher will offer precious Nature of Mind teachings, as well as guided meditations of wisdom and love, drawn from the Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Dakpo Justin will open the retreat on Friday evening from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm, and also offer teachings during the weekend.

As well as teachings, guided meditations and lively Q&A sessions with the Lamas and Dakpo Justin, the online weekend retreat will offer a rare opportunity for extended contemplative practice. Saturday and Sunday will begin at 9:00 am, ending at 4 pm on Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday.  This event is appropriate for spiritual exploration at any level of experience, and retreatants are encouraged to attend the entire weekend in order to derive the most benefit from retreat.

While everyone is welcome to attend individually via Zoom, you may alternatively wish to consider experiencing the retreat in person with other community members in small, informal local pods. This is an optional way to add a layer of shared presence if it’s convenient, while remaining fully connected to the Zoom retreat online. Please reach out to Dakpo Justin at the number below, should you wish to explore participating in a local “retreat pod”.

Lama Daniela and Lama Christopher are both Lineage Holders in the Dzogchen (Natural Great Fulfillment) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

For over twenty-five years, they have each practiced and studied intensively under the guidance of their root teachers and other accomplished masters, Himalayan and Western. Besides completing numerous extended silent meditation retreats, they have been teaching for more than twenty years and were ordained as Lamas in 2015 in the lineage of Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche. In addition to their commitment to the authentic and accessible transmission of these timeless wisdom teachings both locally and nationally, they are also both joyful parents and have each enjoyed life-long professional careers.

Registration fee for the weekend retreat:
$135 (for members of Dzogchen West), $175 (for non-members) or $45 (for full-time students with valid ID).

Traditionally it is said that the value of these teachings is beyond measure. It is optional to make an additional, potentially tax-deductible offering of Dana (generosity), in support of the Lamas, the lineage and the teachings.

Please reserve your space by registering online as soon as possible:
